This Creek Care Guide is designed to encourage and support the ongoing stewardship of creeks in Marin County. This guide is divided into three sections.
The Fish-Friendly Guide is intended to provide landowners with fish-friendly actions to protect the creeks and the Coho salmon and steelhead trout living in our watersheds.
Launched in Marin County in January 2010, the project was designed to educate our community about the simple art and technology of rainwater harvesting, as well as its wide-reaching benefits - from lowering demand on treated water supplies for landscaping, to helping reduce flooding and erosion,
County of Marin resources to assist construction contractors, engineers, property owners, and municipal staff in preventing stormwater pollution at active construction sites.
